For Mother's Day, I made this for my grandma. I just took a photo of my grandparent's engagement photo and took my grandpa out of it :) here is the result:
I graduated in the spring of 2008 with a BFA in Art, with an emphasis in Painting from Metropolitan State College of Denver. I paint mostly abstract, with an emphasis in nature. I believe that nature is my true inspiration.

After Van Gogh
After visiting the Vance Kirkland museum (GO!!! IT'S AMAZING), I wanted to try out his oil and water techniques, using dowels, as he did. I don't know if I did him justice, but it was fun to mess around.
